finally, my tomatos are starting to turn red...unfortunately, it would appear that all of them are going to turn red at the same time, except of course for the one lone red little guy. i was thinking that i would try making fried green tomatos with some of them now, so i dont have 20 ripe tomatos in 2 weeks. i remember when that movie came out, people started serving fried green tomatos in restaurants in sacramento and my mom made them a few times. realistically, you could probably bread & fry almost anything and it would taste good...i said almost anything. this is the recipe i'm going to use...
