yesterday around lunch time i was craving chinese food, well actually i think i was just craving the soy sauce...its slightly wierd but i totally heart soy sauce. typically i dont ever allow myself to eat chinese food (unless its an occasional potsticker along with my salad from Lee's salad buffet) but this time i decided i could have it, if i made it myself. it would be a lot cheaper & healthier. i used soybeans, portabellos, green onion & ham in mine but any veggie or meat would be tasty.EGG FRIED RICE -
cook brown rice according to directions on package, set aside
saute soybeans, pre-cooked ham (cubed), garlic, green onions, s&p and red pepper flakes
mix in rice
scramble a few eggs in a different pan & add to rice mixture
add soy sauce, to taste...enjoy!
DRINK OF CHOICE-
same unfiltered sake (cause it was already open)
